Some of our services come at no charge to the Veteran or their family.
As part of our VA accreditation, Lang’s Legal proudly provides pro bono representation to Veterans and their families for certain matters. This includes filing original or new disability claims with the VA at no cost to the Veteran. We believe no Veteran should be denied the chance to access the benefits they’ve earned, and we are committed to offering this service free of charge as a way of honoring that responsibility.
Paid If We Win
Many of our fees are only collected after we win with nothing up front.
We handle most VA appeals including Supplemental Claims, Higher-Level Reviews, and Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Notice of Disagreements) on a contingency fee basis. This means you pay no upfront costs. Instead, our fee is a percentage of any past-due benefits we help you win. In line with VA rules, our fees range from a minimum of 20% to a maximum of 30%, depending on the complexity of the case. If we don’t recover benefits for you, you owe us nothing.
One Time Fee
Get our expert help with your appeal for a single fee paid as the work is completed.
In addition to our pro bono and contingency fee services, Lang’s Legal offers a flat one-time fee option for Veterans who want a predictable cost for their case. This fee starts as low as $2,500 and is based on the complexity of the claim. It covers full legal representation for a Supplemental Claim, Higher-Level Review, or Board of Veterans’ Appeals Notice of Disagreement, and also provides access to a medical expert review of your case. Under this option, we represent you until your claim is resolved or until we determine the case cannot be taken further.
